together we are strong
many wild boar babies have gotten lost
in the Indonesian rainforest, out of sheer fright each one has to pee. The sunbeams are yellow like orange juice and warm the fearfully damp bristly fur of one who finds a basket full of old peaches in the rose bush. Everyone is thrilled and slurps up the rather unknown delicacy in no time at all.
It is slowly becoming night. Labdanum, a honey-warm and dark smoky vanilla wood dwarf, lays his balsamic leather veil over the resinous fog forest. The moon shines green on the piglets, who are cuddled together, lying creamily against each other on tubi leaves.
The amber wind stands still; there is a crackling in the branches. A deep roar sounds; musk deer and benzoin sniff around, majestically striding through the dense green, carefully settling down with the little ones and guarding them on zenith foil until morning.

A very animalistic wild boar start with lemon and a hint of fermented orange peel, fruity moor oak oud and rose orchestra play a beautiful symphony-warm, damp, dark, dirty jasmine is mean, but then it becomes cozy. Mr. Labdanum lights honey candles; the vanilla wick glows. Incense becomes green and woody in the middle, mild freshness and sweet peach.
The deer snuggles in, extending the animality that also has its cozy side.
Yes, it is a rose oud, but very well done.

What a beautiful natural spectacle
Sultan's oils are almost all theme fragrances for me, the pure power of nature, nothing beautified or styled; the moment was captured
when everything reached its zenith. Each individual note speaks for itself and has the same value; here it is still being dripped and not skimped on. They are small but the best batches that he mixes himself, and everything is only available in limited quantities. When all is done, the Sultan puts everything in until it fits, and it fits.
Everything is top quality, again and again.
3D effect guaranteed. The Sultan is currently number one for me; I hope there is something to pump out, that would be nice.

Thank you, Mr. Sietsche, for the testing opportunity :)

Fruity Animalic
The fragrance begins with a distinct animalic note, reminiscent of a cow barn. But a fruity sweetness is always present, likely coming from the peach. Oud can also have a fruity scent. After opening the sample, I hesitated to apply the oil due to this animalic note. From experience, I know that the barn smell of oud fades after about 15 - 90 minutes. So I eventually dabbed the oil on my wrist. Shortly after, my wife said, from about 5 meters away: “That doesn’t smell good.” After an hour, the barn smell had transformed into a leathery tone that reminded me of a horse saddle. Floral notes also began to emerge, especially the rose. The fruity sweetness is always noticeable. I know this combination from Tuscan Leather, namely the blend of leather and sweet fruit. I cannot detect any smoky notes. A hint of indolic is present, possibly from some flowers. The closer I bring my nose to my wrist, the more I perceive a resinous scent. I also think I smell a bit of castoreum, even though it doesn’t appear in the fragrance pyramid. After a while, woody notes come into play. The fragrance has a sillage of about 10 cm after approximately 3 hours. It remains leathery, fruity, floral, and woody for several hours. Then it can only be sensed up close. My wife said two hours after I applied the oil: “Now it smells better.” She smelled near my wrist; in the room, the fragrance was no longer detectable. If it weren't for the beginning, the perfume would indeed be challenging yet still pleasant and harmoniously balanced, smelling very much of natural ingredients and therefore high quality.

Here they stole Bianchi's recipe:

Indeed, a Sultan's legacy. Almost identical to Juriah, Requiem, or Cheval, just a bit fruitier and juicier. Brilliant, but also redundant.

Sultan in the home archive,
Juriah? Yes please, Cheval? The flowers, yes!
The fruit accord? Take it,
A bit of oud? That's included too
But tamed...

Fruity brother of Cheval & Juriah,
Indian oud soft & approachable,
hard to justify its existence,
performance is atypical for me.

Very interesting - on one side floral and fruity notes. On the other side dark animalistic oud, damp wood, and old leather.

reminds me even of the 'famous' Turath. Clearly less sweet and a 'mature' version. Really a very beautiful scent! Oriental!
