Soft spring morning
If you keep in touch with any old polish people, you could have very likely heard of this classic, specifically the legendary tales of some desperate people turning it into an alcoholic beverage - which is not surprising, hence it’s a mainly alcoholic scent. Do not be fooled however, hence the fragrance is delightfully mixed with sweet citruses, the kind of that were left for a week in some grandmas basement, and i can also sense a gentle, kind of faint note of weeds, a’la goosefoot (as weird as it sounds, in the most positive way ever). It’s a pleasant cologne. Delicate yet firm, it gives off a simple, fresh, early morning, spring feel for daily wear. I can’t really imagine using it for any important events, but i guess a checkup at a doctor or an elderly house visit will do. Though from (disputely) 1919, it smells very modern to me, perhaps early-mid 90s, if i had to visualize, Przemysławka would look like a 1992 polish barber saloon. I’d say the only thing that bothers me is how extremely weak the scent is, as it absolutely does not last long at all, you have to constantly reapply it. It’s a specific, natural yet chemical smelling cologne - it’s clearly not for everyone, but i’m not surprised it survived several decades and still has it’s enthusiasts.
