A scent from way back
My bottle is old. I am not sure how old but after having looked around the net I suppose it is from the early 60s - maybe ten years younger. So therefore I do not know if the smell is intact, even though the juice is see through and without any visible particles.I got it in a bargain box with several other gems and did not try it out. No matter what it is a very nice fragrance. It is well balanced, the leather note being dominant but accompanied by a sweet note, perhaps floral (violets), and a sharp, fresh note that contributes to the scent with a chalky cologne feeling. The name is “…für Sie”, meaning it is for the female audience. But the vibe is a bit old school and I am about to say that is more unisex. When I dab, it is very weak, which probably indicates the age. I bet it was stronger when it was new. I have it in my collection as a curiosity.
A fun story to follow this fragrance is, that my parents visited a place, where they keep houses and machines from hundred years ago. In this village they have an old grocery. In this , they sell a lot of old things such as handmade candy, kitchenware from before 2ndWW and homemade liquor. My mum spotted a shelf with some perfumes and soap bars. She asked about the prices and told the lady behind the counter about her ‘crazy’ daughter’s weird hobby, collecting perfumes. The helpful lady said to my mum that she had a perfume that I most certainly did not have. And she showed my mother Taxor RLfS. My mum sent me a picture. I replied in seconds, that I had it and sent her a picture of my bottle. The lady behind the counter and my mum then agreed that I most definitely am a bit to the crazy side. I love it when people say that.
