Opulence, depth and happiness

Murano glass, gold and a little chain: you can see from afar where this is going - at least that's what I thought when I saw the bottle for the first time.
And when I smelled the spray head, I was confirmed: beautiful, soft and lovely - nice, but not mine.

But as is so often the case, first impressions are deceptive. Fortunately, I gave him a chance, and he used it to play his way into my heart.

Rococò starts soft and sweet, almost like a fine sun cream. Tonka and cocoa harmonize magnificently, gentle hints of flowers play into it - it is completely pleasing, almost TOO pleasing for me.

After half an hour, I want corners, edges and depth - and all that comes, but it takes another half an hour.
Then a door opens and Rococò shines in all its glory: a light animalic (don't worry, it completes the picture completely), clove and a slightly resinous note interweave with the soft and gentle notes to create a beautiful painting, drawing an opulent picture of generous beauty, exuberant power and bright energy - and this phase of the fragrance lasts a long, very long time.

Longevity and sillage are definitely great - but Rococò is not a space-filler that cries out for attention - but it gets it. This fragrance is well received, lasts a long time and makes you feel happy all round.

I'm glad I gave it a chance - Rococò is now a fixed star in my collection.
