Master(ful) Cedar
Master Cedar is, by it´s given name, a wooden scent. Azzi dedicates this (men's) fragrance to both: the classic tradition and heritage of this fragrance family, as well as bringing aspects of modern men into the fragrance. The light ozone note, which stands for sea air, brings some transparency and vastness to the Master Cedar. And these fit very well.
The unadorned cedar has a lot of power and is at the same time rather an aura around me than a massive wooden surge. There is soo much harmony and tact in this composition.
The wood binds Azzi to resinous sounds with very minimal sweetness. The warmth and density of the resins does not "glue" the wonderful, woody and seemingly floating composition together, but simply gives it more depth.
Master Cedar is definitely a recommendation for wood scent fans. And gender is in fact irrelevant. Yes, I would definitely award Master Cedar unisex. It plays beautifully with the sea without being an aquatic at all. And with typical oriental sounds, without wanting or having to belong to this genre.
Azzi truly masters the cedar and gives it an identity, which is especially evident in the nuances.
