Mystère Vetivert
Mr Vetivert is supposed to be the scent of the skin on an alpha male´s neck. Mysterious. Charismatic and somehow sexy. It is only fitting that Azzi Glasser should take the liberty of calling the fragrance "Mystére Vetivert" on her website. To bring the mystery and secrets into play.
If this thread is further spun, there is surely a secret behind every charismatic person, and also their success, that sets them apart from the masses. Azzi now captures this special scent and fuse it into the bottle.
After a short spicy start of laurel and clary sage, warm wood tones immediately take over and are accompanied by the vetiver, which acts balsamic-green here. In general, the vetiver is very smooth and sophisticated, and rather a clamp to all other accords and in no way rugged or dominant green. It has something soothing about all these beautiful, blonde woods.
From the base - further to the drydown - I get above all a very beautiful, white musk, which fits perfectly into the wood aura and the pleasant, almost warming, ambience of the fragrance.
Mr. Vetiver is unisex (for me). A fragrance that is shaped by woods. It has no room-filling sillage, but remains elegant, discreet, but yet noticable with its wearer. It works so naturally on the skin, my better half, kissing me for the day this morning, asked if I would not wear any scent today and if my skin would still be wearing the sounds of yesterday's sun.
A more beautiful compliment can hardly be made to a fragrance.
Maybe that's exactly the secret and mystery of Mr. Vetivert
