Waves crashing on the rocks
The exact reproduction of the smell of sea foam when it is rough, more specifically of waves crashing on the rocks—which gives this perfume a distinctly mineral note. A salty, marine rose. Perfectly unisex. Quite elegant as well. Fresh without being "already known". I have never smelled anything like that before. You do breathe Queen of the Seain deeply... while smiling as you spray it.

An aquatic bouquet of roses
In search of a fresh aquatic fragrance, I asked my consultant about this scent... Queen of the Sea. Her answer: It smells very flowery and like rose, not aquatic at all. To me, the fragrance smells like a fresh sea breeze at the beginning and I can't smell any of the floral notes. As it progresses, the wonderful rose note unfolds. I wasn't a fan of Delina, for example, because it's far too sweet for me, but I'm a huge fan of this fragrance. A very subtle rose, but one that smells "more mature" and not as girly as Delina, for example.

The queen of ocean scents
A nectar of citrus fruits and radiant flowers with a hint of sea breeze. The hypnotic quintessence of the sea makes me feel a little seasick, but like I'm in the middle of the ocean on a ship being rocked back and forth by the waves. For me, it's an experience that immerses me in the world more than it gives me a headache. It is not filled with aquatic harshness, as most designers try to achieve with their maritime lines. Instead, it is more reminiscent of the seaweed under the sea. The rejuvenating hint of green tones from the fresh, crystal clear water envelops the senses with a visual, tangible and harmonious embrace of a liquid queen.

Petals of roses, magnolias and geraniums sprinkled with salty dew drift lazily as if relaxing on the water's edge. An embrace that lingers in the deep wake of precious woods, amber, patchouli and musk.

A fragrance for the whole day, an all-rounder, and as you would expect from an extrait, you can still smell it on your clothes for days. But to be honest, this is not a safe blind buy. As others have mentioned, this fragrance is rather unconventional, and given the limited number of reviews, you're holding a secret weapon in your hands.

However, I personally would be happy to buy it without prior knowledge, as I am always looking for variety in my collection, and Queen of The Sea is not only unique, but extremely elegant, supple and has a long longevity for an extrait in such a price range.

An up and down
I've been working a little more intensively with perfume for two to three years now and this fragrance has once again shown me in a curious way why I love it so much! Not because I liked the scent so much, but because it took me on a journey once again.

I'm currently testing quite a few fragrances that I still have samples of lying around. Including this one. I've smelled the "New Notes" brand a few times so far, and I even own the New Leather. Overall, I've liked the fragrances so far!
I was also impressed with this one at first. Beautiful citric aquatics! I immediately felt like I was walking on an Italian beach. Great!
But after a few minutes I was disillusioned... The aquatic notes remained, but the citrus gave way to diffuse floral notes. Suddenly I no longer felt like I was on a beach in Italy, but like I was in a bathroom. In a clean, hygienic, beautiful and quite nice smelling bathroom. But still in a bathroom. I somehow don't like this floral-aquatic blend as a perfume, even if I can see it as a room fragrance.
At this point, I had (naively) already left a review of the fragrance and a statement here. (I had to correct or delete both afterwards.)
But then, about 4-5 hours after spraying it on, I smelled it on my wrist again and suddenly perceived the fragrance in a completely different way. The aquatics were still perceptible, but really beautiful woods had now joined them. I really liked that again. It felt like a sunset under the trees with the sea in the background.

Will I buy the fragrance? Certainly not. Unfortunately, I didn't like the heart note enough for that.

Nevertheless, I'm sitting here now writing this review because this fragrance has shown me once again that discovering a fragrance is a journey and an experience every time. And I look forward to every single one!

Aquatic floral, salty breeze, soft woods. Polished, easy to wear, but lacks the depth through the journey. Pleasant, but not quite majestic.

A calming and pleasant floral aquatic- lazy summer days by the pool, the Mediterranean sun overhead and flowers blooming by the sunbeds.
