Is the Pyramid a Fake?
Here I participated in the sharing because of the title, as I like "woody" scents.
Like Fischlandman, I find the title misleading. However, the pyramid is also misleading, as it suggested a completely different scent. Both are not a problem for me, as you can see from my rating.
So, based on the pyramid, I would have expected a rather light, citrus-fresh scent, possibly with a bit of sweetness from the vanilla. But I can't recognize anything from the mentioned notes! When I opened the sample to sniff, a little stuck to my finger... and my first thought was: I had something like this just recently! A look at the fragrance twins (Black Afghano!) led me to the solution: "Terroni"! I had just written a comment about this a few days ago. With "Dark Forest," I also have a woody, heavy, warm, intense scent in front of me, which fits well into the family of the black Afghan and its brothers and cousins (to which I also count "Terroni"). I would also suspect Oud in it, but I'm no expert. In any case, the pyramid does not fit at all from my perspective.
Forest scent? Well, if you define that as "woody," it fits, but for me personally, green, resinous, or coniferous notes are missing for such a title. But as I said - it doesn't bother me, because with the sample of "Dark Forest," I still got a nice scent for late autumn!
