Nice box, bad scent
Don't expect this to smell of pure lemons, i.e. to emanate the aroma of freshly cut lemons. This one smells of neroli, which is the oil of the blossoms of the citrus tree. The beautiful lemon blossoms can be seen on the box, but the packaging is the only good thing about this product. Neroli is combined with orange oil - and the result is a horrible stench reminding me of an acid toilet desinfectant of the worst kind. Probably the least attractive fragrance Yves Rocher has produced in a decade.

Not the best neroli cologne...
I must agree to some extent with Gold on Yves Rocher UN MATIN AU JARDIN - AGRUMES EN FLEURS. There really is something off with the opening of this composition. I catch wafts of dirty dishwater amidst the neroli and orange blossom (which I do smell some of...). The interplay of the citrus then generates the scent of some kind of toilet bowl cleaner. It must be the thyme which is conspiring with the citrus top notes and the mysterious "sweet notes" of the base to produce a used bathroom scent--for lack of a better phrase.

I find that after a couple of minutes the toilet cleaner vibe subsides a bit, making this an okay neroli cologne, along the lines of Mauer & Wirtz 4711. But since I don't think that AGRUMES EN FLEURS is better than 4711, and the latter costs even less than the former (which isn't much, by the way), there's no real reason to use this one instead, even if one is capable of holding one's breath through the unpleasant opening.

Simply beautiful!
Simply a beautiful summer scent. It is very fresh, lightly citrusy, pleasant. It has something of freshly washed, still slightly damp laundry. Admittedly, it goes through the fragrance pyramid quickly. The citrus aroma swiftly transitions into a powdery lightness. After about 4 hours, only a hint remains. Well, for that, the 100ml EdT is also affordable, in my opinion. You can replenish it from time to time without having to cry.

As a registered Neroli fan, I get my money's worth here. The composition is not a revolution, but harmonious and fine. I can unreservedly recommend it for summer. I find it far better composed than many scents from the "upper class" that cost ten times as much.
Another lovely fragrance from the house of Rocher, and I'm already curious about the other scents in the Un matin au jardin series, which have also been rated quite well here...

Pimp my Fressshhhnesssss
Short and sweet: here you get what you expect, namely a sharp, fresh citrus breeze. With a strong hiss, a wave of ultimately cooling citrus fruits pours over you. The opening is very reminiscent of the good old 4711 Cologne, but then it takes a slightly different turn.

Neroli is clearly noticeable and consistently dominant; I detect a similarity to Lancôme's Ô de l´Ôrangerie. Herb, dry, cold, citrus-fresh: the ideal companion for long train journeys in summer, rides on stuffy city buses, and generally for all sultry warm weather situations or sweat-inducing activities.

The sweet notes in the base, which are listed in the fragrance pyramid, can only be guessed with strained sniffing on the skin. Because the scent disappears faster than a trip on the ICE from Hamburg to Hanover takes. So always remember to reapply!

Summer Vacation in France
My in-laws live in the south of France, which means we have
a beautiful destination for our summer vacation. The old, converted farmhouse
made of light sandstone, hot summer evenings, the scent of wet stone,
wafting from the old cistern. This is what I thought of when I first
sprayed Agrumes en Fleur.

At first, there is this pleasant scent of grated lemon peels. Slightly
bitter, lemony, but also somehow warm. It blends with a mineral
scent of damp stones, which wonderfully rounds it all off. I admit,
it also has a hint of "toilet stone fragrance," but it is not
unpleasant. On my skin, it quickly becomes very powdery and lightly
sweet, but unfortunately, it also fades away quite quickly. So you should
reapply if you want to enjoy it throughout the day. Otherwise, it is a
truly lovely scent for warm days.

A fine-sweet neroli scent with a hint of red thyme, not really refreshing but delicate enough to be suitable for summer. HBK/Sill mau
