Patchouli for all!
I have the opportunity to try this perfume since they have included it in a Discovery set that they sent me when I bought another perfume from the brand, flamenco, one of my favorite perfumes. I really appreciate this opportunity as I am generally not a patchouli lover and therefore probably never would have tried this perfume if it were up to me.
Mon patchouli naturally smells like patchouli but in a very different way from other patchouli perfumes. It is woody, sweet, dark and medicinal like any perfume like that, but nevertheless in this case it is less chocolatey and lighter, with a much fresher sweetness, which for me makes it addictive.
I think you could say that Mon patchouli is my favorite patchouli-centric perfume so far. I recommend it both to those who love patchouli, since they can find it in a different way here, as well as to those who do not.

Kool-aid patchouli
I am sure that the Indonesian patchouli Monegal used here is fabulous - dank, hoary, spirit of the earth, etc. It's just that I can't really smell it for all that syrupy grape Kool-Aid (jasmine + fruity Maltol-soaked amber) slicked over the top. And for once, the oakmoss doesn't perform its saving grace of sucking everything back into the inky, velvety undergrowth (which might have calmed the shrill frooti-tooti honk of the jasmine-amber). Instead it accentuates an unfortunate aftershavey bitterness I associate with men's sporty colognes, which in turn creates the impression, whether founded or not, of the dreaded aquatic. Abhorrent, pretentious niche 'filler' that demonstrates that even raw materials advertized by the company as being 'of special origin' (as if they weren't all bought off the same Givaudan or IFF shelf) - Yugoslavian oakmoss, Indonesian patchouli, Somalian frankincense, Egyptian jasmine, etc. - can turn to shit in the hands of a perfumer who doesn't know when to stop.

Florachouli
If this fragrance contains only patchouli, then I don't want to be called EP from today on!

This is the most floral patch I have ever tested in my fragrance life! Florachouli, so to speak.

Even the opening is characterized by all sorts of sweet little flowers, but there is no kitsch or over-sentimentality here. I suspect the flowers are Ylang-Ylang or Heliotrope.

At some point, I can perceive patchouli, but definitely not in its pure form. Even in the heart, it remains floral.

In the base, the fragrance becomes sweeter and creamier. Here, I suspect amber, vanilla, and a hint of musk.

Personally, I prefer patchouli in its earthy version, but I still find this composition great.

If the Reminiscence patchouli is too earthy for you, you should definitely try this variant.

Patchoulisolo!
When patchouli is very well woven into other fragrances and results in a warm and soft, slightly earthy and sweet scent, I like it a lot. Patchouli as a soliflore is not really my thing. And although there are certainly other components included here, patchouli dominates and takes center stage. This does not make it a desired fragrance for me.
Nevertheless, I must admit that it is exceptionally well made and shows no "basement note" or anything musty. Mon Patchouly is very noble and unisex wearable, not too sweet and also not a narcotic. That’s why it received 70% from me.
Those who like patchouli can find their signature scent with this fragrance, which is just as wearable during the day as it is at night.

Mon Patchouly - completely without Patchouli?!
The name sounded so tempting - my Patchouli.

As a confessed Patchouli lover, I had to test this fragrance.

I patiently waited for the Patchouli to emerge, at least in the base note I should be able to smell it... I thought.
The fragrance starts with amber, well, I can handle that as long as it doesn't linger.
Then comes a rose, it could definitely be geranium. A distant memory of balcony box scent surfaces.
That stays with me, long-term.

With good will, I try to detect a bit more - well - jasmine, although not a real one.
That was it.

Where is the Patchouli?

Not even in the "far-off" category for me.
In the dry down, with a lot of imagination, a tiny bit of incense, quite benevolently scented.
What a shame.
The title unfortunately does not hold - as so often - what it promises or seems to scent.

Patchouli in Monegal style: no musty cellar, but floral with a dry sweetness, sophisticated, distinguished, and cheerful! Interesting!

CaramelAmber, flowers fixed with a bit of incense/oak moss? Patch is hardly detectable, it "cools" the scent from the heart note. Well.

Aquatic, sweet-spicy jasmine bomb with a patchouli top. A floral chypre. Anisaldehyde/ clove/ cinnamon/ moss/ lots of coumarin + benzoin. If it weren't for this aquatic note, I'd say it's great!

Patchouli is a no-go for me, but that doesn't make it bad. It's a lively, brighter (geranium + egg yolk) and slightly dirtier all-rounder.
