Citrus spice instead of dark wood

The flacon design and the name have lured me. The thing just looks cool, and "dark woods" sounds like home ...

But what does it have to offer:

It starts off chirpy and spicy. Seeeeee very citrusy! But with a naturally herbaceous vibe...
For once, this is a citrusy scent that I like. These scents generally have a hard time with me.

Yes, it has a similar vibe to "Terre de Hermes" or even "Davidoff Horizon", but it's still quite different. The Hemes is orangy-earthy and this one is ztr-herbaceous and woody. Later in the drydown, when the citrus note weakens, it even becomes slightly gourmand as cardamom and nutmeg come through.

The DNA and also the actual scent impression, except for cedar, doesn't really give much that I would associate with "dark woods". The name is misleading. But nevertheless, it is an interesting and successful fragrance, I think. Nothing extraordinary or Herrausragendes, but occasionally in the summer and rather outdoors well to wear.

Age-wise I would see him for the group of gentlemen between 25 and 55 years. Nothing for teenagers and also nothing for Ü60.

So you should not be deterred by the head (both figuratively and olfactorily speaking). You have to let him in (want).

He is also gladly recommended for the winter. I see in him but a clear summer fragrance, because of its citrus-fresh charisma.
Just like "Terre de Hermes" by the way also.

And if the bottle is empty times, then he remains already alone for decoration in the cabinet :-).
