Minigolf
Slightly creaky, quite resinous
Since I only know a few fragrances from Davidoff, I cannot compare "Horizon Extreme" with similar perfumes from this house. I can only note what I actually smell. And that is neither particularly bad nor super exciting. Somewhat of a middle ground.
At first, the scent seems to have a "sharp" note, which could possibly come from ginger. Underneath and in the "after-scent," there is a hint of herbal-spicy rosemary. This "episode" comes across quite bright thanks to the grapefruit. But that doesn't last long. A little later, "Horizon Extreme" can't quite decide whether it wants to remain bright and somewhat sharp or become dark and slightly "dull." For quite a while, this somewhat "half-silky" indecisive banter oscillates between both possibilities.
It then boldly chooses the "dark side." Very peppery at first, then sinking deeper into woody and resinous realms. From there, I quite like the scent, as this phase also constitutes the main part of the entire fragrance. With a "general" longevity of about 6 hours on me (where I can still perceive it well), the "Dark Wood Phase" makes up at least two-thirds.
It remains a little "Rumpelstiltskin," but I can't hold that against it, as this dark benevolence is also part of its character.
First a little "fidgety," then a creaky forest dweller ;-))
