Here the "sow" is "vague", but it smells great!
And to be honest, I don't even know the "original". Despite having a large collection and testing experience as an "eau de toilette", I've never had it under my nose.
I can only say that no "animal" apps were uploaded to the "notebook". Rather purely plant-based, but definitely "wild" notes, which certainly gives "Sauvage" a meaning. It is not the "wild sow" that is at work here, but what it often or even only sometimes intends to eat: herbs! Starting with "Artemisia" and "Tarragon" through to thyme and sage.
The whole thing may start with citrus fruits, which may be "just" an afterthought. Because the herbaceous-green (GALBANUM!!) quickly gets down to business. Then gradually everything the herb garden has to offer. There may also be a tiny trace of jasmine... but so far in the background that it can be detected as a "subtle hint".
The tartness outweighs the "grassy-rooty", which gives the fragrance the depth that it increasingly reveals through... what do you think it is?
