Seaweed-Salty-Aquatic in the Style of Acqua di Sale

Summer is over and this one is likely to be rather uninteresting for the next few months. It was released quite late, but anyone looking for an aquatic spring/summer scent for next year can give this a try. Especially if you like this style à la Acqua di Sale, this is a great option. I love this salty-seaweed DNA with beautiful myrtle. For me, this fragrance is less appealing as I already own two of this kind: Acqua di Sale & "Sandflowers | Montale." Salina & Salaria are also two great alternatives. Salaria was also created by Paolo, and I believe this brand belongs to the Terenzis as well. Here again for Tiziana with a bit more budget, which you can also smell. Akragas is, I believe, an ancient Greek site in Sicily.

In terms of price, this line from Tiziana Terenzi is one of the more affordable ones, usually with a retail price of 190 euros. However, some of these can be found with a 30-50% discount if you look carefully and have a bit of patience.
Like these typical saltwater aquatics à la Acqua di Sale, this one also has the classic notes of myrtle, seaweed, and salt. I love this combo as it simply evokes those authentic saltwater vacation vibes and fits perfectly with sunny hot days. A serious and mature appearance. What distinguishes this Akragas from Profumum Roma? It is clearly much more complex and more fragrance notes are perceivable. While the AdS is rather monotonous, this Akragas develops with many spicy notes. It comes quite close to "Salaria | Giardino Benessere," although I find this one much more harmonious as it really develops beautifully in the heart note. Geranium doesn’t say anything to me, but the heart note has great vibes with pleasant spice, nice wood, and soft-sensual notes. Patchouli also develops over time. The base and the dry down are already very pleasant and sensual. I don’t really perceive benzoin & vanilla, but the base rounds off this fragrance very well.

Performance is traditionally good for a Terenzi, but by far not as good as Profumum Roma. Sillage is pleasant and longevity should be around 7+ hours. The scent is clearly unisex and shines best in late spring and summer. Due to the strong spiciness, this one theoretically wouldn’t be wrong in autumn either.

For me, it’s an absolutely good fragrance, even though this style isn’t really new. If Acqua di Sale is too monotonous for you, you should give this one a chance. Those who don’t like this salty-seaweed style probably won’t really enjoy this either. I love such unique freshies.

Do you like Akragas or Salaria better?

I loved the comparison with Adisale and Salaria because I have both, so I’ll probably skip this one.
