My signature fragrance in strong and expensive
Went to the Oberpollinger in Munich the other day. Saw on Parfumo the same day that the fragrance was released.
So I went into the good room and to the TF stand where the saleswoman sprayed the fragrance on the back of my hand...
The first sniff... a moment to process... and there it was my signature fragrance in a stronger, darker and just as beautiful as I had imagined it to be ...
I can't even describe this feeling. Imagine water (Oud Wood EDP) and blood (Oud Wood Parfum), that's how it is with both of them. I just think it's a real shame that after years you get the idea that you could dope the draught horse and sell it for twice as much.
The perfume is really beautifully made, but as I've often mentioned, I miss the edges that you can smell in the EDP... that slightly medicinal note at the beginning, the cardamom and I don't even want to talk about the price... the perfume is just too linear, there are no ups and downs that create a fragrance experience. All in all, I have to say that the H/S is definitely better than the EDP

Killer Instinct?
For me, the fragrance is primarily a very green and soapy lavender scent. Gives me slight fougere vibes at first. Individually listed notes are difficult to pick out. The oud note in particular is hard to smell. In my opinion, the name doesn't fit this...

Do you smell or do you not smell?
I have to say I didn't smell it myself at first, just a slight alcoholic note. Then I sprayed it on my brother and asked myself what smells so good here. Just wow, I don't think I've ever smelled such a great, simple and pleasant...
