Volatile spa fragrance

Sweet Harmony was a nice addition to one of the swap games, which made the fragrance that was actually exchanged a minor matter.
Sniffing the sample promised a delicious sweet gourmand. But with the first spray, all I got was a fresh lemon, which then turned into a vanilla scent. I was totally thrilled and started researching. According to the homepage, pomelo and rosemary are also included. But I don't get that.
The reviews here don't necessarily share my enthusiasm. Some say it's artificial and boring. But no matter, I found and still find it good.
While I found out that it's not expensive at all and signed up to a new online perfumery again because the fragrance was in my shopping cart, I realized that I didn't smell anything at all.
I have this problem with a lot of vanilla fragrances. Either I quickly become scent-blind or my skin just seems to shake off the scent.
The solution here comes from the information on the homepage and the online shop: Sweet Harmony is an EDT, a "spa" fragrance (for the sauna?), a "come closer" fragrance (so that people can smell me better?), whose ingredients are essential oils. And since essential oils evaporate quickly, it is recommended to apply the fragrance several times a day. Oh well
Since the fragrance doesn't suit the season for me now anyway, I'll postpone the purchase decision again.
It smells good, it's cheap, but I don't really want to have to spray a fragrance every hour.

Boring!

Beautiful. Really wonderful vanilla fragrance. There's nothing to complain about here. Really not, all good, round and harmonious. So be it. It says so.
It's almost like normal life. Everyone loves each other, everyone likes each other, and no one gets in touch with anybody. Why, it's only about vanilla, and everybody really likes vanilla, right?
Anyway, all I can say is, great vanilla, front to back. I can hardly breathe anymore how much this vanilla is in harmony with itself and the world and the big picture. Fascinating.

You should make scented candles out of it.

Quarrel? She doesn't know vanilla. After all, she'd be Streitille, wouldn't she? No, that would be nothing, nobody can do anything with it here. Harmony! IT SAYS DAA! Read it!
Oh, you wonderful belly brush vanilla, you're to be envied, but tell me, don't you sometimes, so secretly, deep inside you, not also have a little desire for spice and humour? Say, have the guts, nobody gets mad around here.

Vanilla cake with lemon glaze, once again! :D

Actually, it's not a very good idea to test vanilla fragrances in this heat at the moment. Stupid only that I just have some vanilla scent samples lying around, whose quantity is not so much in these small sprayers or tubes any more, so that the probability that they could probably tip over soon is higher. Which would be a shame if those scents went bad.

So I do test these scents, but only at home, where it's warm but not murderously hot (oh I wish I had an air conditioner *sigh*). But that doesn't matter, because you leave the apartment every now and then and of all things vanilla fragrances last so long, mostly with a gigantic scent cloud :D

But no matter... I do it anyway,... and yes, as so often only for you, so be grateful :DD
So let's see how this smell smells!

The fragrance:

I smell vanilla and lemons at first. The lemon looks very tasty with such a fragrance (with vanilla), because it reminds totally of lemon sugar glazes. This makes the vanilla fragrance look like a delicious cake!
And thanks to the vanilla, the fragrance is of course also particularly soft and powdery as usual.
For the beginning the scent looks surprisingly fresh because of the lemon despite sweet vanilla, so that I am not immediately crushed by the powdery cloud in this heat :D
After some time, however, the lemon continues to fade, so that at the end, as usual, only the vanilla remains. A pleasant and fragrant fragrance, but also very simple. Oh, and vanilla doesn't get that strong here, by the way.

The Sillage and the shelf life:

The Sillage is okay at first, because the vanilla radiates well and you are wrapped in a powdery-sweet cloud, which others can smell good, but without being overwhelmingly sweet. With time, however, it weakens and in the base, where it only smells of vanilla, it is rather weak and not radiant as you might expect.
The shelf life is vanilla, so more than eight to ten hours are definitely in here, at least on my skin!

The bottle:

The bottle is rectangular and has a simple white label with a black frame on the front. The lid is cylindrical and high. All in all a little too easy to guess and therefore seems rather functional.

Okay, that's enough for me now. I'll never test a scent like that again!
I mean, it smells really like vanilla cake with a delicious, slightly firm lemon sugar icing that cracks a bit nicely when you bite! So now I'm really getting a craving for cake. Of course you could now say that I should bake or buy one... just the thing: Only recently I had a gum treatment and try to do without especially sweet or crumbly sweeteners. Although everything has become really good in the meantime and it doesn't take that long anymore, but still :D
And of course... all the extra calories, because it's summer and you're trying to look better. On the other hand... argh, I guess it won't be with a girlfriend this year either, so I could buy myself a gigantic cake tomorrow,... just for me, mjamm!
So I still have to cuddle with my cat... but he tore up too many mice lately and THEN rubs his face against my face first... aargh, igitt! D

But let's get to the more important one: Would it be possible to wear the scent in summer? Well, the scent for a vanilla scent isn't soo heavy in itself. In midsummer, like now with murderously hot temperatures, it could nevertheless appear somewhat strenuous, since it is no really fresh smell with the exception of the beginning. But on moderately warm days, and of course also in spring, it could look quite nice if you don't want to do without vanilla.
Although the Sillage is rather moderate, the scent is already quite resistant, so that it is also suitable for going out.

Well,... you can try it, but besides smelling like vanilla, it doesn't smell like vanilla anymore, so it smells like 56874 vanilla scents in the end :D
In short: Nice, but without special strengths! But as is so often the case, it also stimulates ravenous appetite!
