Cornetto buttermilk-lemon in a bottle

Who remembers the carefree summer days spent at the outdoor pool as a child? Of that turquoise blue water, the pool that seemed so big back then, the diving boards, the slides whose spiral staircases were adorned with children & teenagers standing in line.

These days, so taken for granted back then, are now etched in our hearts as core memories. Each of us had a favorite moment on such a day. Mine was the crowning moment in the evening with a portion of chips & an ice cream for dessert.

From Solero, to Bumbum & to Calippo, we each had our favorite. Mine was Cornetto Buttermilk Lemon. Don't ask me why, but there were things I associated with adulthood back then & desperately wanted to emulate - this ice cream was one of those things.

The creamy sweetness of the buttermilk caressed the tartness of the lemon - so complementary & yet so wonderfully harmonious. Upon reaching the cone, a caramelly, slightly cinnamony note appears - Casamorati - Lira Eau de Parfum perfectly translated this scenario into a fragrance & gave me my childhood memory in a bottle.

Lemon cake with an interesting grapefruit opening

The Casamorati Lira was my first purchase from Xerjoff. As I had been itching to finally have a Casamorati / Xerjoff fragrance in my collection for some time, I was guided by the reviews and ordered a souk. And it was the first Souk that immediately won me over in the first second. For me, Lira is a gourmand that manages to strike a balance between sweet gourmand and luxurious perfume. The strong lemon cake opening is enhanced by a high-quality grapefruit.

The fragrance has absolute addictive potential and, in my opinion, cannot be over-sprayed. Even though it lasts all day with just 2-3 sprays, I like to use 6-7 sprays in order to perceive this grapefruit and lemon cake fragrance more intensely. I initially ordered a 30 ml bottle, but this has already been replaced by a 100 ml bottle. The 100 ml bottle of Casamorati Lira simply looks much nicer. Especially as the fragrance must not have too many fans, as it is always radically discounted on the Internet. For me, however, the 30 ml bottle is an absolute blind buy for all gourmand fands! And if you don't have the courage for it, then at least buy a souk - you won't regret it.

A small addition on the subject of layering: If you want to enhance the fragrance a little more, you should layer the Maison Margiela By the Fireplace with the Lira. This gives the fragrance another interesting twist! And now head to the souk and order a bottle!

Smells very pleasant, but durability could be better, smells like freshly baked lemon cake, I love it, immediately puts me in a good mood, I feel good with this fragrance, fits very well for warm times. Slightly vanilla, sweet, something special. One of the most beautiful lemon cake scents, I can definitely recommend it to anyone who likes this kind of scent.

Lira is a gourmand masterpiece for me! As others have already said: it smells like juicy lemon cake.

I don't find the blood orange annoying, it fades in the first few minutes. I slightly notice the lavender, which even compliments the fragrance. I also don't smell the jasmine, of which I am often not the biggest fan.
