Chic oud with underdeveloped star potential
Vanity Oud is woodier and much more abstract than its neatly organized pyramid would lead one to assume. Do not expect a straightforward fruity-floral-oud progression. The omnipresent core of the fragrance is an ebullient amber accord, and depending on her mood, you may find her gravelly, candied, powdered, or arboreal. Its notes are blended so as to be indistinguishable from one another. The general impression is sweet, peppery, and resinous but in a polished, clean-shaven manner. Paternal in the gentlest sense.
