The legendary jeans in a bottle

Like many others here, I already had a bottle of this legend in my bathroom cabinet in my youth. I don't think it ever ran out, but I don't know what happened to it today. All I know is that I wore it almost every day and didn't give it a second thought back then.

Now I saw it very cheaply at a well-known online retailer and had to buy it. I admit: more, but not only, for nostalgic reasons. I wanted to know what it smells like again - I wanted to know how my nose has changed, whether it can now recognize matured notes that you didn't think about back then?

The answer is: No!

Because as soon as I wear it, my brain blocks out any attempts to perceive the individual components and simply enjoys this wonderfully floral composition. Yes, it is definitely fresh in the top note, but overall it has a broadly floral effect for me - and I love it. Later in the evening, a sweet and partly woody note spreads.

This fragrance lives with you throughout the day: it wakes you up refreshingly in the morning, sweetens your everyday life with flowers and gives you the necessary peace and relaxation in the evening with its base notes.

This fragrance is a legend, a small masterpiece considering the price. An absolute no-brainer if you like floral fragrances.

I don't agree with many of the reviews about the longevity and sillage: It lasts all day on me, even several days on my clothes, and I smell myself extremely strongly all day, which is really a rarity for me. Of course, the base notes are only noticeable close to the body, but you can't expect anything else.

I also don't quite understand why many people see it as a pure summer fragrance.
For me, it's perfect for spring and early summer, but also for early fall, where it takes away the depression of the shortening day with its presence.

In the height of summer, it would be far too much for me personally. Far too intense, far too, yes, synthetic.
This is perhaps a matter of taste, but I prefer something light and fresh in summer - I can't find these attributes here.

Conclusion:
This fragrance has become as much of a legend as the pants that give it its name. Everyone had it, no one talks about it. Why is that? I don't know... In any case, I'm delighted to have it with me again and wear it with pride, even when I'm over 30 - it's not supposed to work, but it works wonderfully for me.

Nevertheless, it lives an (undeserved) shadowy existence in the Versace portfolio. However, if they weren't so convinced of the fragrance, it would probably no longer be on the market - and I fully agree with them.

If this bottle ever runs out, it certainly won't have to leave me for 20 years this time.
