relaxng and handsome

Silvestre di Victor, an ITALIAN brand, now Visconti di Modrone, belongs to that "old" lineage of men's perfumes, typical of the 60-80 period. In the scents it is reminiscent of Pino Silvestre (the pre pre pre reformulation one), with its herbaceous, pine and balsamic scents. What characterizes Silvestre for me is a strong balsamic note (to me it seems like eucalyptus even if it isn't in the pyramid) and a much more marked and less ethereal base of Pino Silvestre. Overall it is an aromatic scent, smelling of pine needles, resin and wood with a very dry finish and (fortunately) without any sweetness. Despite being a colony I must recognize its excellent performance, comparable to modern EdTs; it remains on the skin for at least 5 or 6 hours with a very discreet projection and an equally faint trail. Definitely masculine, very...not at all unisex. For me it passed with flying colours, beautiful to wear after a shower in summer, with that sensation of green and aromatic freshness. Handsome!
