In the water everything is shaking!
Hello and welcome to my latest comment. Um... yeah yeah, I know, my title sounds like you've got some heavy, dirty fantasies, doesn't it? At least the name "Wackelwasser" makes you think of bikini ladies jumping around in the water, where everything is,... well, shaking! Before you ladies in particular want to hit me with a furious foam at the mouth, I have to say that I am not the only one who would fantasize or think about such things. Did you know, for example, that with Dead or Alive Xtreme there is even a video game series where the female characters of a famous fighting game series are gathered in a beach game and where they have to play various mini-games (such as volleyball, tug of war on air mattresses, high-speed water slide or... uh he he he... Butt battle)? And where the developers have even programmed their own chest wobble physics for the wobble insoles?

How do I know all this? I just know! I'm a gamer, but I've never played the Dead or Alive Xtreme series, I really haven't, but don't believe me as usual... pah!

Let's get back to the jelly water... I mean, back to the scent. I see the manufacturer's name is Nipple Water... hey hey, all right. Anyway, there are two fragrances by this manufacturer, one is called Dark and one is called Light Edition. Since I don't have a sample of the Light Edition, I can't compare the two fragrances, so I'll describe the Nodding Water Dark here first.

By the way, the nodding water scents are by Christian Plesch, whose first fragrance series are the nose-gold scents, which probably should be a bit more well-known.

The smell:
The fragrance begins with lemons and great ginger. I'm never so sure about cardamom, because there is a cardamom note, which smells disgusting, and apparently there is also a fragrance that is not bad, like here, in case I already notice cardamom.
Apart from that there is a nice sweetness of jasmine, which is also a bit like flower water, that is, the water in the flower pots of florists, where the flowers are inside and where the water takes on a slightly floral-sweet smell from the flowers inside.
A little later, the scent is still loose and fresh, even if one should not be able to smell the lemons so exactly then, but the scent still comes across as fruity, even if one cannot determine the fruits exactly anymore. I would say that the fruity smells like a mix of lemons, oranges and maybe berries.
Towards the end, it actually smells as described, as the fragrance changes almost nothing except that the woody notes become a little stronger and then you can tell that the woods are cedar.
Cedar wood is also the fragrance that lingers until the end, while in the base all other fragrances gradually fade away.

The Sillage and the durability:
The radiance is medium to weak, as are many fragrances that go in a fresh direction. So you have to be around more to be able to smell the scent at one or the other. Also the durability is mediocre to rather low, but due to the cedar wood it lasts a bit longer than purely citric scents. But nevertheless I would state the durability with only about five hours.

The bottle! The bottle is rectangular and has a black label printed on the front, with the letters omitted, allowing you to see inside the bottle through the fragrance name. It's all very simple and rather functional, like many niche fragrance bottles.

Conclusion:
... no guys, once again: I really don't know the Dead or Alive Xtreme games, how many times? D
I really have to mention it here several times because nobody believes me. Seriously, these are games, mostly at full price for a real game (i.e. between 50-70 Euros), but where only a few of the above mentioned mini-games are included and where most of the games are probably only playing because of the bikini shows, since every character in the game can put on a whole bunch of different bikinis and then move and loll around flexibly. But I have to admit that the graphics look pretty awesome :D At least from some of the few YouTube videos I have seen (out of curiosity!) like this (only a few!! :D).

Anyway, let's get back to the conclusion of this fragrance:
Yes, Nodding Water Dark is nothing unusual at first, especially for those who have already tried many fragrances. Nevertheless, it is a quite nice scent, which can score with its freshness and its pleasant "good mood" scent, especially in summer, where you could simply smell good with the fragrance, even if the aura should be weaker. The only real point of criticism would perhaps be the 100 euros that this fragrance costs, but as already written, these types of fragrances are often weak and do not cost less with other manufacturers, especially in the niche fragrance sector.

It's worth trying, because I find the mix of light citric notes, the small but nice sweetness and the fruity part quite nice. It reminds me at first sight (as far as I can remember) of scents like Jo Malone's Blackberry & Bay, only this one is much less durable.

Well, that's it, then. I wish you all a nice evening and see you next time :)

Wobble water as a rescue in the olfactory desert
Today I left the house completely unscented. How'd it happen? Not because I'd forgotten, but because I had an interview and got into a lot of thinking beforehand. What if one of the participants has terrible associations with my scent? The ex-girlfriend? The annoying colleague? The unbelievably stupid boss? Or an allergy to fragrances? If you think too much about details before such a conversation, then it can only end up doing nothing at all! Actually I was planning to take a bottle of a beautiful fragrance, but I totally forgot. And so, once again, my desk had to be looted - and there it looked very thin. Since all employees are allowed to help themselves to their hearts' content and I hadn't replenished for a long time, things (and I deliberately don't say fragrances!) like Kenzo World - you know, the soulful eye - and Shalimar Souffle de Parfum - a fragrance that my colleague absolutely loathes - remained. But completely in the corner, almost completely hidden, there was also a sample of "Wackelwasser dark", which I wanted to test for a long time. I really liked Wackelwasser light last summer - and so I fragranced myself extensively with his dark colleague. And - may I say it in advance - I have not regretted it. The start is not dark at all, but lemony light with a clear bergamot and a pleasantly hot peppery ginger. This spice spontaneously reminds me of the cubeb pepper, which I like to use in the kitchen. This can be done well, especially when freshly grated wood is added. In between, a little flower, a hint of spice - by the way, I find carnation rather than cardamom here - and a hint of sweetness shine through. After the top note I can't really make out anything single, more like a potpourri, a melange, a kettle of colour, a conglomeration, a mishmash, a (very pleasant) mixture. Essentially citrus, spice and wood. The dark water also jumps back and forth with me, from spicy to sweet to flowery to fresh and back again. I could imagine it actually very well for a young man and decide to let my 15 year old son take a nose of it on occasion. For me it was nice to try it out, also sometimes funny to wear, but not so that I need a whole bottle of it.

Sparkling Ginger
By chance I came across this scent, I can't even reconstruct the situation properly.
In any case, I was looking for a summery night out or evening scent with which one can also go to clubs, rather in the easy direction and from the niche corner.
I have tested myself through some things and most of what was suggested to me was good but often too hard or too sweet.

And now I'm here. By the Jiggle Water Dark, totally unpopular.
The comments and statements here on Parfumo and the blog entry about the fragrance on the page "For the love of fragrance" encouraged me to order a sample.

The fragrance itself starts off very fresh, each individual fragrance note indicated in the top note mixes to a pleasant "uniform mash". Ginger, lemon and a hint of cardamom create a fresh overall picture that fits wonderfully into warm evening hours.
I also have the illusion of carbonic acid, a slight tingling in the nose completes the impression.
Little by little the scents of malt, caramel, cedar and musk join in the background, the ginger remains - in my opinion - but always in the foreground, just like the lemon and the light freshness.
I experience a slight twist after about 3 hours of wearing, the scent gets a little darker, loses its freshness and unfortunately also its sillage. In general, I find Sillage and durability not necessarily intoxicating, but still in the midfield On me, the dark sparkling water is only perceived very closely after about 3 hours, every now and then when I move, a really nice scent composition blows into my nose, but this is then only a shadow of itself. Unfortunately! I would like to freeze the scent from the first second on as it is and then keep it for 10 hours.

Perfect for going out and clubbing.
It also goes during the day in the spare time and with many activities outside.
Casual, not too formal.
Rather no man in a suit and more masculine than unisex.

In any case, it is an absolute insider tip, girls and women have already asked me several times about the unique fragrance.
Also I have never been allowed to smell anything in that direction before.
Test recommendation! This fragrance definitely deserves more love and attention ;)
