40 Knots Xerjoff 2012

40 Knots really is one of the strongest aquatic fragrances I have had the pleasure of getting to know. When you close your eyes, all you can smell is the open, wide sea. Subliminally, a slight spiciness comes through, comparable to the wood on a sailing yacht. It is by no means a gentle aquatic, but a stormy, wild one that shouts 'here I am'. It reminds me like no other of my love of the sea, and of childhood dreams of a pirate life like in old Hollywood movies. Wonderful.
I really like it and will probably add it to my perfume collection soon.
