Ouverture Xerjoff 2016

The fragrance starts as described with a strong orange, but for me it’s not zesty, rather fresh-dried. Fig adds some life and a certain enchanting note. I can only agree with my predecessors regarding the scent progression and the notes, but this fragrance is definitely not fresh; it is warm and soft, opulent and speaks for itself. Cinnamon and rose can be perceived very well, with rose being a bit more subtle. The scent becomes very creamy and feels luxurious; we also have dry woods and a beautiful, flattering vanilla. A truly lovely autumn fragrance for both women and men, providing a cozy, protective warmth.
