The (almost) eternal pelvic vertebrae
The overture is the instrumental introduction to an opera. Here's the question: What does it take to captivate listeners right at the beginning, to make them listen, to outline tension, to trigger a desire for more in the audience and to consider any sacrifice in emotional, financial and mental health terms for what may come to be more than understandable?

|¦ Ouverture ¦|

Mass appeal despite originality, sophistication despite simplicity, quality despite accessibility, and intensity despite detail.
Only a charged composition, awe-inspiring and refined to perfection, reflects what Xerjoff gave birth to with her own ; Ouverture

The sweetness delights the masses, the artistically delicious shows independence ; The perfectly measured unanimity opulates sophistication, the holistic, radiant fragrance convinces with simplicity.

The initial very bright, airy and perceived as yellowish sweetness clinks pleasantly past the ears of the listener with brilliance and already indicates the exceptional keynote of the piece. Once the focus of the perceiver has been taken by the hand through this, the treble awakens into a powerful chapel of radiant strings, taking you on paths of levitating impressions through increased volume. At that point you perceive mainly one emotion ; fascination.
We realize this at the latest when we realize how far our delicious cloud of dreamlike has actually carried us away //I got lost in it, for hours.

Whew, that was some olfactory and auditory journey, wasn't it? I didn't quite know myself sometimes whether I was smelling overture or hearing overture, but that's exactly why I love this fragrance
Especially since the bottle is the most beautiful from his collection, the fragrance is also the dreamiest of its siblings. In the light very bright and sparkling everywhere, so tingly takes him even my little nose. It is so round. It is so perfectly composed. It is simply a masterpiece, I am not someone who can taste every note from every fragrance at the first touch of the bottle, but with this one I succeed with no single note. And that may remain gladly in such a way, thus you remain namely my small mysterious treasure, which I will probably not have understood properly until death. Mysterious

This perfume smelled like a candy I've always wanted to eat. I've never encountered such an incredible, positively tinged sweetness. Smelled because over time I've come to perceive the scent less as an edible work of art and more as an accompanying and projecting energy. Well, whatever it is for whoever, it's definitely something weird, and if you don't know it ; please ersoure it, it's worth the experience, even if it's not made for everyone. But I don't need to rehash that for you perfumos.
I would like to thank YOU last, that you have made everything possible with your community heart and your efforts and it still makes, from samples of any kind to actually long extinct flacons, thank you for it, on more olfactory orchestras of this intensity, Cheers!

Insider tip
Performance:

What else would you expect from Xerjoff. As an eau de parfum, this perfume performs bombastically. Durability and projection are almost perfectly matched.

Who can wear the fragrance?

It is according to Xerjoff a unisex fragrance. In my eyes, however, I see this Paefum at no woman. For this I find it a little too smoky.
For men, I see no age limit. It is a fragrance for all men who like sweet/smoky fragrances.

Where can you wear the fragrance?

Again, I don't see any special occasions to wear this perfume.

Due to the fact that it is a niche fragrance and one smells this perfume even so very rarely with others, I myself, however, would rarely wear this perfume. I wear it now and then times at customer appointments, because this fragrance is very pleasant to my environment. I feel the perfume but also as a super evening fragrance.

My opinion:

One could certainly already read it out.

I am a huge fan of this perfume. It was the first Nieschenparfum, which I bought and also certainly my longest stay in a perfumery, because I could not decide at that time between Accento and this.
Who has not yet familiarized with the house of Xerjoff, should do so. I can say in good conscience that there are not many manufacturers who produces such a variety of good fragrances.

Ouverture - A musical in three acts -
For a long time, this fragrance has been worth a review for me, as it has made it from a 2ml to a 5ml bottling to a bottle.
For me, Ouverture is like a piece of music, no rather a musical made up of various pieces of music composed together.

The prelude or the actual overture (i.e. the opening) begins with a green-sweetish start.
The main voice here occupies a really loud fig leaf, which is accompanied by a juicy orange in the drone. The orange is allowed to contribute something tangy and fruity, although it always remains in the background, as befits a drone.
The same applies to the appearance of magnolia. It is perceptible, but not through its own presence, but also as an accompanying voice to underline the scent of the fig leaf and make it somewhat more floral.

As soon as the second act begins (there is no classic curtain in this case, but the scent changes noticeably here)
another star enters the stage with loud aromas: cinnamon!
It also plays a leading role here, with a certain spiciness, playful and aromatic, it is accompanied on stage by almost shy roses and jasmine blossoms.
In this case, the floral notes play the drone, i.e. the almost constant accompanying tone, while the cinnamon is allowed to show off its complexity with a loud voice and really doesn't skimp on volume in its presence.
Ylang-ylang still tries to come into its own somehow, but is only perceived subliminally by the audience, everyone only pays attention to the main protagonist.

When the middle act leaves the stage after what feels like an eternity, the third act becomes somewhat quieter. After this opulent main act, it's time for something quieter, which allows the audience to relax a little and calm down.
A cozy warmth spreads, the curtain rises and a magnificent vanilla enters the stage.
Warm, slightly spicy and not too sweet, she stands with her legs on the sandalwood stage floor. The cashmere costume fits her like a glove.
It becomes quieter in the auditorium, you can literally feel the relaxing effect of the current actors on stage. None of the performers want to be too loud, they want to create a harmonious end to this really exciting musical. After all, the audience has been sitting in the performance for more than 8 hours.
The last words of the evening then belong to Amber and Incense.
They end the performance with their gentle aromas, escort the audience out of the auditorium and thank them for a super successful performance.

For me personally, Ouverture is much more than just an opening, it definitely plays a leading role as a fragrance. I perceive the fragrance notes as individually well-balanced, no note seems overdosed in the ensemble, none screams too loudly. Nevertheless, it is a really perceptible fragrance with a sillage that should not be underestimated. It easily lasts +9 hours on my skin with a room-filling projection.

If you have read this far and would like to experience a similar performance, I can recommend this fragrance to you, don't be put off by the first test, you have to get used to it a little.

Winter in a bottle
I was able to get hold of a bottling through a sharing and since then I am in love with it! I have rarely gotten such a delicious scent under the nose. It smells like Christmas, like apple pie, like vanilla and after many other great things. Ouverture stands up to the freezing cold with ease, even though I only dosed one spritz carefully. The durability is really awesome, I could still smell Ouverture on me the next day. I can understand that the previous speakers complain about a somewhat strange undertone. The fragrance already has something "creaky". Just this undertone I find but very successful in this fragrance, because if this would be missing, Ouverture would be a true diabetes candidate

Vanilla kisses orange and it gets hot!
The fragrance starts as aforementioned with a strong orange, but for me not tangy, rather fresh dried, fig gives again some life and a certain beguiling note. I can only agree with the previous speakers about the scent progression and notes, but fresh this fragrance is definitely not, it is warm and soft, opulent and speaks for itself. Cinnamon and rose can be perceived very well, rose a bit more subtle. The fragrance becomes very creamy and seems noble, we still have dry woods and a beautiful flattering vanilla here. A really nice autumn fragrance for woman and man, which gives you a comforting protective warmth.

It’s a creamy fruit-flower bomb. I don’t know why it’s rated for winter/fall. It’s not a freshie but I would prefer it for spring and summer

Maybe my nose is playing tricks on me but it definitely has parallels to Black Orchid. But more compatible and softer, better!

Fruitbomb, leans feminine. Pineapple, tropical sirupy notes and some rum lurking in the base. Longplaying cocktail, rotten fruit. Not for me

A fruity rose with some mild green edges and additional floral support. Unisex, great for spring-fall wear as a unique profile.
