"A rose to end all roses"

It's not often that I would rate a fragrance a 10/10, but this one has it all:

It starts with a light, fresh note of green apple and very soft lavender, combined with a darker rose, with wood and a scratchy oud in the background. WOW! These are olfactory fireworks!

Contrary to all claims, the fragrance is not (!) heavy in the air, nor does it stick to the wearer, but it still lasts a long time.

To get to the point: This fragrance is the actually impossible perfect symbiosis of complexity and pleasantness.

My favorite time to wear this fragrance is when it's snowing or in very cold temperatures. Perfect for a Christmas party, for example, or sprayed very moderately at work at this time of year.
In summer, however, it can probably still be worn sporadically at very festive occasions.

Conclusion:
For me, this fragrance is probably the end of the rose-oud story; no rose-oud fragrance before or after it could add anything significant to it. No matter if there is a zero at the end of the price and no matter which ultra-rare rose from the private treasury of an extremely rich emir would be used for it. For me, this is the true "rose to end all roses". Finito : ).
