Gao Xerjoff 2012

As the title suggests, the delinquent is first hit with a full dose of glue scent. Once you regain your senses after a few minutes and manage to pick yourself up off the floor, you are "rewarded" with an intense leather scent, reminiscent of freshly polished shoes with shoe cream. After about an hour, a floral note that becomes increasingly intense joins in, which smells wonderful. Therefore, I would categorize Gao as more feminine. However, I can't imagine that women would subject themselves to the initial scent. The leather note, by the way, lasts quite a long time and only fades away when a hint of the oriental "monster bummer" (woody/spicy) comes through at the end. I already know this scent from Hayat, where it is much stronger and clearer. Here, the floral scent and a slightly musty note still linger. For me, Gao is simply too controversial to wear.
