Very delicious fruity mango cream, unfortunately it doesn't work on my skin
I recently became aware of the brand Zadig & Voltaire for the first time when a sample of This Is Her! Vibes of Freedom fluttered into my home. I found the stuff ultra delicious on paper right away, but unfortunately my skin just didn't accept it, it didn't even get started and was gone in no time.
Nevertheless, my interest was piqued. Let's see what else they do... and yes, I have to admit that their marketing appeals to me, sometimes the girls are just easy to win over ;-). Messages like "Girls Can Do Anything," "Girls Can Say Anything," or even a simple "This is Me" or "This Is Us," somehow gets to me, I find that ultra sympathetic. I then checked out the fragrance pyramids for the individual scents. The "Girls series" didn't appeal to me as much, since floral scents can quickly become too much for me. But I found This Is Her! quite intriguing - and then in a mango version? Yep! I simply ordered Art 4 All as a blind buy.
And yes, the scent really didn't disappoint me, even though it - as far as I can tell - doesn't have a great development. The fruity mango comes first, but the creaminess quickly joins in and makes the scent a delicious overall concept. If it were to develop further somehow, hmmm, then I wasn't there for it ;-((. Because unfortunately, this scent does the same thing to me that the "Vibes of Freedom sister" already did: disappearing in no time, just because I wasn't looking for a moment... or something like that. About 5-10 minutes after spraying, the scent was just a shadow of its former self on me - not at all what had greeted me on paper. And after about 1 1/2 hours, there was really nothing left on my wrist, not even a hint.
I unfortunately consider it official that I have a skin chemistry that just doesn't get along with Zadig & Voltaire. I tried spraying the scent in my hair as an experiment. It fared much better there. But since my hair isn't that long and I really didn't want it hanging around my nose... this beautiful spring/summer scent can gladly move on. Nevertheless, I actually like it a lot!
