Chestnut, cream and juicy mango all in one
I love mango, but unfortunately, mango notes often tend to turn too sour on my skin. This is different. It has a lot in common with the original This is Her, so the mango lies on a base of vanilla, roasted chestnut and creamy notes. But due to the fresh fruitiness it feels less sticky than TIH. It's the perfect balance of both worlds!
It's also interesting how it blends a very summery, tropical fruit with notes that are usually more common in autumn and winter scents. The roasted chestnut is really prominent, it even reminds me a little bit of By the Fireplace, and I never smelled a perfume that combined such a warm, smokey gourmand note with mango or similar fruits. This scent certainly doesn't fit into any seasonal clichés.
I read some German reviews that said this smells like a mango yogurt or ice cream, but I don't really agree, as the chestnut is very prominent to me. It's still a beautifully creamy scent though.

You might not need this when you already have the original, except if you really love mango or if it's your signature and you want a more summer-appropriate version. If you found something missing in the original, this lovely fruity edition might be right up your alley. Only the bottle could be better.

Crème de mangue
This is my favorite version!!!!
The DNA of the original perfume is there, but with a fruity note of mango to add a little sweetness and happiness.
A milky and creamy mango... Without becoming too heavy and without excess, it slightly blurs the incense note which gives depth to this perfume.
For me, it is definitely a niche fragrance.

Very delicious fruity mango cream, unfortunately it doesn't work on my skin
I recently became aware of the brand Zadig & Voltaire for the first time when a sample of This Is Her! Vibes of Freedom fluttered into my home. I found the stuff ultra delicious on paper right away, but unfortunately my skin just didn't accept it, it didn't even get started and was gone in no time.

Nevertheless, my interest was piqued. Let's see what else they do... and yes, I have to admit that their marketing appeals to me, sometimes the girls are just easy to win over ;-). Messages like "Girls Can Do Anything," "Girls Can Say Anything," or even a simple "This is Me" or "This Is Us," somehow gets to me, I find that ultra sympathetic. I then checked out the fragrance pyramids for the individual scents. The "Girls series" didn't appeal to me as much, since floral scents can quickly become too much for me. But I found This Is Her! quite intriguing - and then in a mango version? Yep! I simply ordered Art 4 All as a blind buy.

And yes, the scent really didn't disappoint me, even though it - as far as I can tell - doesn't have a great development. The fruity mango comes first, but the creaminess quickly joins in and makes the scent a delicious overall concept. If it were to develop further somehow, hmmm, then I wasn't there for it ;-((. Because unfortunately, this scent does the same thing to me that the "Vibes of Freedom sister" already did: disappearing in no time, just because I wasn't looking for a moment... or something like that. About 5-10 minutes after spraying, the scent was just a shadow of its former self on me - not at all what had greeted me on paper. And after about 1 1/2 hours, there was really nothing left on my wrist, not even a hint.

I unfortunately consider it official that I have a skin chemistry that just doesn't get along with Zadig & Voltaire. I tried spraying the scent in my hair as an experiment. It fared much better there. But since my hair isn't that long and I really didn't want it hanging around my nose... this beautiful spring/summer scent can gladly move on. Nevertheless, I actually like it a lot!

Mango, chestnut, and sandalwood? Summer, autumn, and winter all in one? Oh yes, absolutely! And everyone around you notices, so be careful ;-)

A flanker that's better than the original. That’s rare. Powdery-nutty yet creamy-fruity. I like it!

Fruity, creamy, spicy - simply amazing. Perfect choice for spring and summer. Anyone who loves the original should definitely try this scent.

Well-known This is her scent with a more green mango in the opening and soft creamy mango-sandalwood notes in the drydown. Simply melt-in-your-mouth...

Creaminess is great; the sweetness doesn't overwhelm. It's just a shame about the sweaty note in the background.

A fruity touch in the opening compared to the original. Drydown is identical. Worse longevity than the original. Compliment magnet.

I really like it, but I just miss something "standout" - then it might even be my signature scent. Unfortunately, it's too sweet.

Mango yogurt ice cream in a cone. Fruity sweetness.
Ice cream is always a good idea...
