Am I watching the wrong movie?
The first time I smelled the fragrance was on a very close friend. The kind of friend who sparks off sparks that jump out at me and vice versa.
She told me about the fragrance and I was super curious to smell it because there are so many different opinions (from heavenly to downright repulsive) in the community.
When we finally went to a concert recently, I noticed a distinctly deep and sweet scent on her and asked her directly if it was Supreme Vanilla and of course it was. We had a really good chat throughout the evening and had a really great time at the concert, although this was more in the background because we had very deep conversations and we were just having a great time.
When I went to Zara, I really wanted to see if it smelled the same on my skin and I was immediately taken aback: it wasn't at all what I was expecting and I thought I would have to be satisfied with the fact that I could smell it on my girlfriend.
It smelled kind of sweet and I hate to say it, but kind of like the bad breath of someone who has just smoked. How can that be? I was really disappointed because even after 10 minutes it didn't change..
After 20-30 minutes, I sniffed my arm again and was stunned! How the hell can a fragrance change so drastically? Of course I know that fragrances can develop, but I've never experienced it "like that" before...
I was delighted because I can smell the fragrance on me, which reminds me of a very special evening with a very special person.
It also lasted a very long time on my arm, smells incredibly precious and is worth every penny and more. You just have to give some fragrances time.

Sweet!
Over the last few months I've been flirting with Dior Poison EdP as it has evoked nostalgic vibez from my teenage years. I never owned it myself, as I was only loyal to the one (Summer by Kenzo) and as it kept my teenage wallet very small at the time, no other...
