BARBARIAN EdP from @ahomworld x @sealed.essence
A fragrance which tells you the story of a king who - loves his family and kingdom; goes on the battlefield to expand his lands and comes back victorious, drenched in bl.0.0.d and sweat! The soul of that person, the essence of that human is what we get to live through the fragrance called BARBARIAN.
While the Naga Oudh and the Vintage Ethiopian Civet form the backbone of this perfume, the crisp smokey tobacco enhances its masculinity, while the florals in the opening provide a delicate touch.
In the beginning, one gets the intense spiced-up take from the civet alongside tobacco, which fades to pave the way for beautiful Jasmine Sambac dominating the hint of roses!
As it settles, a strong tobacco holding hands with leathery Nagaland Oudh tells you the tale of a braveheart warrior—it's bold, masculine, and unapologetic! The smokey feel of crisp tobacco with smooth leathery Nagaland Oudh is a joy for all those who aren't afraid to enjoy daring fragrances.
In the dry down, you get a gorgeous civet which is creamy, buttery, slightly spicy like that of cinnamon and mingles exquisitely with the Nagaland Oudh. As it grows, the combination turns into a berry sweet and a little tarty feel - which I feel elevates the experience of this perfume even more!
In the end, you get a little powdery sweet tone on your skin with a faint hayish accord. This perfume takes you on an olfactory experience which just can't be captured by a designer perfume!
As it ages further, this beauty’s beast - Vintage Ethiopian Civet and Nagaland Oudh - will make it more elegant, sophisticated, classy and magnificent.
Once again, the man behind this beauty - Zakir Sir - portrayed natural perfumery like never before! Truly an artist
A big thanks to the person who made me try this gorgeous fragrance. Also, allowing me to borrow - probably the only bottle of Barbarian EdP in India - and share my thoughts about it
