Sour and creamy Mango
This is a beauty. It begins with a very prominent blackcurrant note, even the most pronounced in the entire composition. I understand that, since it's the main note, there's love or hate. I can understand that because not everyone likes sweet and sour at the same time, but let me explain what I think.
This perfume, like all artisanal perfumes, must be allowed to rest immediately after the product arrives. Considering the distance from where it's produced to my country, all that, plus a practically new fragrance, it needs a rest period to give its best, especially when it's a blend of different notes. After letting it rest, I started using it, and wow, this beauty doesn't leave me indifferent. It's a sweet, tart mango, but very balanced with a spectacular sandalwood note that makes it creamy and wearable, while the currant is pronounced at the beginning. Throughout most of the perfume's journey, the mango and sandalwood gain strength and completely balance the scent, making the woody notes of sandalwood felt, accompanied by a slightly earthy note that, for me, adds an animalic touch, similar to sweaty skin. The scent gives you an experience in the development of the perfume from beginning to end.
The rose isn't that prominent in my nose, but the mango, sandalwood, earthy notes, and currant are. If you're looking for an olfactory experience, or a reminder of when you were contemplating cutting a mango from a tree, and not a simple, mainstream mango scent at all, this is for you.
