The Lake Behind the Sea - Land Included
Here I stand by the water. In front of me a lake, in the background the sea. In between, a strip of land, covered with Mediterranean herbs and individual eucalyptus trees. The herbal-floral rosemary competes in fragrance with the slightly bitter sage and aromatic-green thyme. The airy-salty breeze from the sea is quite cool, even though the sun is shining.
And the lake lies just in the shadow of large, gnarled trees. Resins smell like "liquid amber" and blend with the aromatic, slightly sharp eucalyptus scents. Moist air rises from the lake, delicately smelling of moss and algae. They form a mélange with the sea breeze and herbs.
Changing only slowly - from early morning to the evening, when damp-earthy scents of patchouli and vetiver rise. All together creates a slightly mystical, but definitely unique and quirky atmosphere. I would describe it as "between the waters." Where the "Great" influences the "Small" and vice versa. Including aromatic Mediterranean "land" scents. Quite a different "Aquatic"!

Spanish Sea Breeze
Initially, the eucalyptus and bergamot hit you almost like a wave, instantly evoking the image of lingering in a small rowboat by the coast. A cool breeze occasionally carries droplets from the rough sea to your face, which you can almost feel.
Sage and patchouli create a warm note, reminding you that the journey home to a warm bath, perhaps even a steam sauna, is not far away.

A blend of adventure and spa feeling. Unique.
This special fragrance experience is certainly matched by an equally special shopping experience in the small perfumery. Here, you are taken on a journey to experience perfume in a new way. My wife and I not only enjoy our scents from Palma but also the beautiful memories of our vacation and our visit to that perfumery.

The Scent of Home in the Wind
Sea Breeze by Arquinesia is more than just a fragrance for me - it is the key to my soul's place. Every time I feel wanderlust and long for the vastness of the North Sea, I spray this scent and I am instantly there. I feel the salty sea breeze on my skin, hear the gentle lapping of the waves, and the wind blowing through the dunes. The initial notes are cool and aquatic - a fresh, almost invigorating breeze that clears the mind and opens the air for breathing.
It is the scent of freedom, of summer by the sea with all its lightness and expansiveness. The freshness is soon accompanied by a gentle warmth - a subtle blend of wood and musk that feels like the warm sand beneath my feet as the day comes to an end and the sun slowly disappears behind the horizon. It is this perfect balancing act between freshness and coziness that continually draws me back to the North Sea.
I wear Sea Breeze on days when I long for the sea, even when I am far away from it. It is the scent that brings me back to my favorite places in my thoughts - to the endless horizon, the wind in my hair, and the feeling of being one with nature. Sea Breeze is my little escape, an invisible vacation that repeatedly takes me in spirit to the beach of the North Sea.

In the Spa with a View of the Sea…
…that’s how this fragrance smells to me. As if I were inhaling herbs in a pleasantly scented saltwater spa, then relaxing while swimming outside, holding my nose to the wind and soaking in the sea air.

The fragrance starts lightly citrusy and right from the beginning, there’s an explosion of herbs. It dries down beautifully over time, and I mainly perceive eucalyptus, which gives me that spa feeling. Patchouli remains subtly in the background. When you bring your nose closer to the skin, it almost clears your sinuses.

Longevity and sillage are medium-good for me. I find that completely acceptable for this natural scent, especially since the price-performance ratio is right.

This fragrance is great for days when you just want to unwind. Perhaps after a nice bath, for a walk, or a relaxing day at home.

P.S. If you’re in Palma, Mallorca, be sure to visit the lovely, impressive little perfumery Arquinesia. It’s really charming and a little experience!

Hmm, very nice Aquate, invites you to dream of the Mediterranean! Salty-ethereal; sea notes, eucalyptus & herbs create a great symbiosis.

As expected: a salty aquatic. The combination with green spice is very well done. I like it a lot.

Baltic Sea, winter, sucking on herbal candy, the wind slaps salty spray in my face - slimy algae sticks around.

Mediterranean herbs + cold bath with lots of eucalyptus. Fresh, cool scent, but for me, no sea note. Instead, a lot of synthetic. Well.

Green, aquatic, lightly balsamic. Distinct from typical aquatic fragrances.

Unfortunately, it mostly smells like patchouli on me.
But it lasts a very long time.
