The Song of Fireplace and Cozy Evenings

How fragrant this "Bonfire" is. It tells of autumn evenings or winter nights when one gathers comfortably in front of a fireplace, enjoying the warmth while engaging in lively conversation. In an old "country house," of course, located near the forest. The logs from pines, beeches, and other trees have been gathered and chopped into suitable pieces, approved by the forester. Well dried, of course. And still infused with fragrant resins that release into the air when heated by the fire, without causing any bothersome smoke.
A fine note of incense weaves around everything.
A bowl filled with oranges and mandarins studded with pepper and cloves sits on the rustic wooden table, clearly handcrafted by the residents and admired by the guests.
All these pleasant scents together create a wonderfully cozy atmosphere with a hint of forest adventures!

This Fire Radiates

This fragrance fascinates me because it is the 1:1 olfactory representation of a fire as seen in the accompanying ASMR video. The fire is radiant and bright, clearly outlined against the black background, which creates a strong contrast. It’s almost surreal and looks photoshopped; the capture is so perfect. The contrast between the real scent of a campfire and its ideal representation has indeed been captured by ASMR.

From the first spray, the nature of the scent is clear. It immediately evokes the association of a campfire. But this olfactory impression is underscored by fragrance notes that make the scent surprisingly bright. The pepper is distinctly noticeable and creates an incredibly strong and pleasant contrast to the realistic rest, giving Bonfire Whisper a certain lightness. After looking at the notes, I can also identify the chili. While I don’t perceive the smell of chili itself, I feel its effect, as it clears the nose.

As shown in the video, I recognize a glowing, radiant fire against a deep black background, and I find that remarkable. This bright and weightless composition in the top note is, for me, a perfect symbiosis with or a very harmonious counterbalance to the authentic smell of a campfire.

As it develops, it becomes more smoldering and towards the end, smoky and vanillic. Here, the fire has given up following the beauty ideal. It is real, it is smoky and smoldering. Burnt.
This type of vanilla is something you have to like; I can’t describe it further.
