Green, minty, fruity--a little unusual but fairly pleasant
Green Aura is one of the more recent releases from the Virginia-based Authenticity Perfumes. It has a difficult-to-categorize green, minty, fresh, slightly sweet blend, which, according to its note breakdown, has quite the array, some of the highlights being lavender, spearmint, green apple, lime, cedar, and musk. It predictably starts out a bit sharper, with more emphasis on the lavender and spearmint, before drying down to more balance with the fruits, cedar, and musk, as well as some heart notes that I don’t really detect so I’m not going to mention that. On me, it’s a pleasant blend that does have bits of synthetic DNA.
Green Aura is currently priced at $44 for 60ml, certainly a bargain by any standard in the current era, and like most offerings from the house, it performs well. I’d certainly recommend ordering a sample set if you’ve not tried the brand at all, because it’s full of interesting offerings that are highly affordable and generally very easy to wear.
