You've never smelled something quite like this.

Sniffed this at the store and immediately picked up the whole discovery set. Bastille clearly has a unique and refreshing take on fragrance. 14 Juillet is a wonderful take on a scent that's supposed to smell like fireworks or firecrackers. It adds a peppery zing to the citrus and vanilla that persists with the tonka bean base note. The tangerine in the opening is nice and fresh, but doesn't linger for too long, leaving us with a nice smokiness with hints of vanilla. I like this a lot!

The whole kitchen smells of the cookies I baked this morning.
A special recipe for the holiday on July 14.

It smells very strongly of vanilla; the tonka bean I grated into the dough isn't really noticeable, but it adds a bit of warmth/darkness to the overall impression, almost chocolatey. Cinnamon and violet leaves are very clearly detectable.
I crumbled a few dried violet leaves into the dough, and with the others, I decorated the fruity glaze, which was refined with a few drops of cassis and tangerine.

Not cookies for every day, but I love baking them for special occasions, and everyone looks forward to them.

Whether there is really a recipe that includes the mentioned ingredients, I don't know.
But to me, the scent smells like a delicious cookie made from these ingredients.
And I probably prefer to smell it rather than eat it.

When sprayed, it is already a little scent explosion, very spicy; perhaps this is my perception of the fireworks note.
In the first test, I perceived the violet leaf very strongly (actually too strongly), but now, after wearing the scent several times, I find this note to be a very fitting part of the overall impression; it makes the fragrance special and very attractive to me.

A very lovely, sweet-spicy vanilla!

One more word about the bottle and the overall impression created by the color of the perfume and the lettering:
The gold-yellow color of the perfume and the pastel green lettering make the bottle shine when light falls on it - it definitely fits perfectly with a fireworks theme!
