Smooth spicy tuberose
I found this when I was searching for something that had a similar profile to Daphne (there was a minute when I didn't think a bottle would make it to me in the US; luckily for me it worked out in the end); or basically a spicy-sweet tuberose.
I wasn't wrong, Re Nero is similar to Daphne. But Re Nero is smoother, spicier, lighter on the patch and generally an easier wear. So easy that lately I've been wearing it every few days. It's not earth-shattering, new or exciting, but honestly it's just everything I want right now all in one package....very spicy but mildly sweet; comforting and cozy with a little white floral to keep my identity intact.
I love Daphne and I'm glad it made it to me; but I'm also thankful for the near miss as Re Nero has been one of my cold-season stand out discoveries this year.
