Summer in a Bottle

This is a beautiful, unique fragrance, but first I had to come share that the packaging is the coolest I've found so far. It literally comes in a real bartending mixer. I thought that was the neatest touch!

The fragrance itself starts off with the juiciest pineapple. The coconut and plum are there too, but they take a backseat to the pineapple. Somehow this doesn't feel tropical to me even though it has all the makings for a tropical explosion.

The pineapple stays until the dry down, but it takes a backseat to the creamy, woody base. It's just a very enjoyable experience from beginning to end.

This brand can do something! I think I'm becoming a fan

Santal Painkiller is now the second fragrance from Blndrgrphy that I was able to test and once again I am mega happy. This new brand can do something and is really fun!
Santal Painkiller somehow gives me associations with a fresh, fruity cocktail with cinnamon as an imaginative spice. On the other hand, I sometimes had to think of a French roll baked with fruit.
So it's not too sweet, but feels slightly sweet and almost refreshing. Totally crazy, but that's how I feel here.

The fragrance starts with a hint of cardamom, a good but subtle hint of cinnamon and, for me, fruity elements.
The listed pineapple and plum are therefore almost immediately in my nose. I don't know whether I would have recognized these two notes as fruit. I would even have expected some kind of lemon or orange.

This impression just described also lasts a good while.
Then, however, the creamy woody notes suddenly appear. It becomes more and more intense and suppresses the beautiful fruity accents.
The wood is definitely nice, but I would have liked this fruity phase with the cinnamon to last longer.

The fragrance is wonderfully unisex wearable and has a completely satisfying performance.
I can live very well with a longevity of eight hours on my skin. The projection is moderate. It's not that this fragrance doesn't project at all, but it's not really very present either.

Fresh kick with woody DD

The whole range is based on well-known cocktails - as you can hear from the packaging (in a stainless steel shaker). I haven't had a Painkiller yet, so I won't make any reference to it.

The first spray: pineapple kicks, there could also be lemon listed. Very fruity, punshy and slightly spicy.

The drydown: Suddenly a different scent for me. The citric/citric... is hardly there anymore and is replaced by sandalwood. Now the fragrance reminds me strongly of my Santal-Basmati and has become softer and almost creamy.

I could still smell the fragrance on my clothes the next day. On the skin, the fragrance was present for at least half a day.

I like the way it develops, but I wish the fruity freshness could last a little longer.

MMn the fragrance is clearly unisex. Can be worn always and everywhere.
