What a beast
I won't write a long, detailed paragraph because there isn't much to say:I got this perfume in winter 2022, wore it for a week, and loved the scent and quality. However, the performance didn't match Carlisle. Maybe the issue was a new batch or my skin's chemistry at that time. Honestly, I don't know the true cause. In winter 2023, I completely forgot about this fragrance until I was cleaning shelves and saw it sitting there. I thought, "When did I buy this one? Who is it supposed to be close to?" After four sprays, I was overwhelmed—not by alcohol or a bad scent—the fragrance just screamed at me. Two hours later, my brother came in and asked, "My God, what is this?" I asked if it was bad, and he said, "No, it smells luxurious and powerful."So yes, the performance is monstrous, but it might also happen like it did for me, where your body doesn't react well or the performance needs time to mature. I'll rate it at +9 hours longevity for global reference (and for me, personally, 14 hours). The sillage is heavy in the first hour, moderate for the next two hours, and then more than just a skin scent for the remaining time. With this, the choking element for me is cleared out of the way. Is it truly Carlisle? Yes, but no. For me, it's a twist on the DNA. Some say it's Carlisle with a sprinkle of Oajan, others say Herod, and some say all three.I can't say it's 70% of Carlisle since I don't have a full bottle of all three to test properly, but as a scent, it's definitely inspired, not a clone. If you love all those mentioned, then this is instant love. The oils in here are really of high quality, better than most designer levels by far. The presentation quality is also really good.Anyways, a solid fragrance and a hidden sleeper brand. I recommend it: 8.75/10.
