The Journey Through the Winter Forest
This bookoed perfume is not like all the other woody fragrances on the market! Here, nature is also at the forefront.
This journey through the forest is a wintry, warm, long journey.

Lignum starts with notes of grapefruit; or rather, orange - I have noticed that depending on the temperature, it sometimes smells like grapefruit and sometimes like orange. This very naturally occurring citrus lasts about 15 minutes, and then you have arrived in the forest.
Woody notes take over, always carried by a warm base of vanilla, tobacco, and iris.
These notes all blend together, creating a warm-winter impression of the most beautiful woods. Almost like a Christmas-decorated wooden cabin in the middle of a coniferous forest.

By the way, I occasionally get the impression of little cinnamon flashes. Cinnamon is not included! I think this sensation simply arises from the various spices!
With the cinnamon impression, I am certainly not alone; I have read this here more often.

The winter forest ends in a deep dark vanilla. However, in the most natural way!

Lignum is truly not a typical perfume, but a journey through the winter forest. A natural experience to simply unwind.

Natural Niche of the Highest Class - Lignum Fascinates
What a pleasant surprise! Lignum impressively shows what is possible when a young German manufacturer consistently relies on 100% natural ingredients.
The opening with white grapefruit initially seems almost too fresh for a woody fragrance, but within just a few minutes, a fascinating complexity unfolds: juniper wood and tobacco meet creamy iris and warm vanilla, while vetiver and Atlas cedar provide the necessary depth. The labdanum adds a subtly oriental note to the composition without becoming intrusive.
The development is particularly impressive: what starts fresh transforms into a wonderfully balanced wood-vanilla accord with a dry, almost powdery finish. The longevity is truly convincing - still distinctly perceptible to my nose after 7-8 hours.
The only small downside: the natural colorants can leave marks on light clothing. But that's how it is: those who want nature must also live with the consequences. ;)
Lignum is definitely not a mainstream fragrance, and that's exactly what makes it so appealing. Anyone looking to wander off the beaten path and experience the highest quality should definitely give Buchoed a chance.

Latin for Wood!
Absolutely unknown scent and therefore you will definitely stand out with it. Oriental in tone, but not too much. Actually an oud fragrance, but subtle. Instead, vanilla-heavy, ambered wood hits extremely long and highly complex. The perfume stains strongly, so be careful with light clothing! However, this is also a quality feature, because natural essences are often strongly colored. The scent is also so strong that the 30 ml feels more like 50 ml or more. Absolutely recommended.

Pure Wood!
If you love wood and everything related to it, you will love this! The opening is an almost exaggerated dose of grapefruit. You might like it or not - I do, because it fits with the wood. Quickly, cardamom and juniper take over, adding a dry, bright wood note. But still not enough wood! Because Atlas cedar, vetiver, and oud are already coming in, making the scent truly like a tree trunk. It becomes sexy with vanilla, tobacco, and iris. Really expensive, really attractive, and lasts extremely long. I'm thrilled!

Iris, vetiver, grapefruit, and cardamom as pure wood. Tobacco and woods just set the frame. Powerful and unique. I like it!

Fresh tobacco leaf falls on old resinous tree trunks.
A powdery hint of vanilla wafts through the air.
Cardamom and vetiver lighten it up.

Beautiful contrast between "sharp" components (like grapefruit) and soft aspects (especially vanilla). Organic without the health food store vibe.
