Natural Rose Scent - Even for Rose Detractors
This fragrance dispels all prejudices about rose scents. Rosa Nigra is the opposite of a sweet, kitschy rose - instead, Buchoed presents a dark, mysterious beauty with an oriental soul.
The opening immediately shows character: A deep, spicy rose that does not scream but appears elegantly and confidently. Oud and noble woods skillfully keep it in check, ensuring that this scent remains absolutely unisex. The initial sweetness from honey and tonka bean develops into a fascinating play between oriental incense notes of frankincense and styrax.
What particularly excites me: The evolution is almost cinematic - from the thrilling, almost animalistic night to the cozy, comforting scent that, for some reason, reminds me of warm Sahara evenings in southern Morocco. (Scents do trigger memories…) The vanilla-labdanum base envelops you like a velvety cloak, while a little bit of oud provides the necessary complexity.
The performance is impressively powerful and long-lasting despite 100% natural ingredients. It is fascinating that a perfume without synthetic additives can develop such presence!
My conclusion: Rosa Nigra proves that natural perfumery works at the highest level. Even die-hard rose skeptics might weaken here. It is a scent that polarizes but definitely does not bore.

I don't like roses
...I keep telling myself this, and with exactly this mindset, I approached this fragrance. I was surprised:
The scent opens with a beautiful dark rose. It doesn’t scream; it doesn’t need to. It is elegant, feminine, and present. Woods and oud keep it in check and ensure, with their complexity, that this is not an overly feminine fragrance. The initial sweetness fades over time, but it still reminds me of my vacation nights in the Sahara.
An exciting night turns into a cozy feel-good scent with a rose that even convinces me.

Successful unisex rose fragrance!
A wonderfully natural, not kitschy, and completely unisex rose fragrance. Oriental, woody, complex. The oud gives the scent depth without pushing itself to the forefront.

The opening is fruity-floral, slightly animalic and honey-sweet. The rose accord remains, but the base of woody amber notes becomes increasingly prominent.

From the very beginning, extremely strong and long-lasting. It's exciting that a perfume without any synthetics can have such power!

Roses from Passau.
Delicate roses, embraced by vanilla and tonka, wrapped in the gentle mist of the Danube. Far from any rose oud clichés.

A great woody rose scent. Really beautifully accompanied by rose, with incense and tonka. Just because it's not a classic rose fragrance - perfect.

You’ve smelled DNA before, but this is a very well-made dark rose scent that consists only of
natural ingredients. Hats off!

Oud in a homeopathic dose, rose just a little. It smells like freshly baked cookies to me, very nice.
