Rosie By / Rosie Jane 2016 Eau de Parfum

I have a love-hate relationship with both rose and musk. If these notes are too pungent or too artificially sweet, I'm out.
Accordingly, I carefully spray two spritzes of Rosie from the by rosie jane discovery set on my arm and smell....
...NOTHING at first.
huh? is my nose broken?
As I walk through my apartment to make myself a coffee, somewhat disappointed (and somewhat relieved that the scent is at least not unpleasant), I am greeted by a fluffy, light cloud of Skin-Scent. A bit like a mixture of Glossier-You and Juliette has a Gun. I smell my arm in disbelief. Is that Rosie?
Spoiler: This IS the Rosie who is getting more beautiful by the minute! Half an hour later, the skin scent has developed even further: Into a dream of freshly washed, soft light pink silk lingerie drying in a rose garden under the Warm Sun.
And so the fragrance from the Discoveryset that I least expected is the one that I will soon be picking up a full size of.
