Powder (dose) in liquid form ;-)
With Ulric de Varens, I never know whether to laugh or cry, but that only results from the fact that I am into outrageously expensive perfumery scents. I just like them. And it goes so far that I would always prefer the expensive version of a fragrance, even if the cheaper one smells exactly the same. That’s why I just don’t know if Ulric and I can become and remain friends in the long run.

But that’s not what this is about. To my regret ;-) I have to say that Ulric de Varens makes such beautiful fragrances. And today, with "pour Elle," he has once again made me such a powdery-beautiful friendship offer that is really hard to refuse.

The scent struck me as deliciously floral, very delicately fruity, and simply warm and rounded due to the musk. Everything really fits here; Chrisantiss is right. The powderiness of the fragrance keeps it from being intrusive, rather it feels delicate and feminine, somehow "well-groomed," creamy, and simply beautiful.

Ulric, what are you doing to me...?!

P.S.: Today I got stuck with my nose on the test strip again. Can someone tell me if I should just take it with me? ;))

Who would have thought...?
For me, after all the niche fragrance testing lately, it's almost unbelievable, but this scent is worth it.
It doesn't need to hide behind the expensive fragrances.
I didn't hesitate long and went for it.

Pour Elle has everything a beautiful floral fragrance must have and a little bit more.

There is a particularly lovely powderiness that feels neither cloying nor outdated. Rather, it reminds one of iris scents.
At the same time, the other notes are not suppressed but wonderfully complemented. The rose comes through delicately, and the jasmine is also present. The pear adds just the right touch of warm fruit, and the musk makes the scent feel cozy and creamy.
Everything is just right here.

That was my scent at 18! Sweet, powdery, and lovely. I got a lot of compliments back then. I miss that fragrance so much!
