Whiskey bar?

I knew I wouldn't like this scent to wear on myself, as I'm really looking for femme-leaning fragrances, but it was highly reviewed and I like to buy samples of scents I wouldn't normally wear, in the name of science (or Parfumo?)

On skin, the cinnamon and leather come through strongest. Maybe I smell the cognac, but I'm thinking more whiskey bar. The cinnamon and lime together make this fragrance strangely sweet and appealing on my skin - at first. I'm a (polite) hater of smoke and cigar notes, and unfortunately, the more I smell this perfume, the stronger the smoke gets, with the leather in the background. It's a subtle smoke, but I'm either going anosmic to the rest of the notes or this is just how the perfume wears on me.

Not my cup of cognac, but I know a friend who this would be stellar on.

Gentleman's lounge

As expected, this smells like a gentleman's lounge. Starts off with dusty old books but then grows more complex as it dries down: smoky, boozy, spicy, leathery.

I love boozy evening scents but they're always a gamble. Certain booze notes don't get along well with my skin, I either smell like I spilled an entire bottle of liquor on me or sometimes they even smell sort of like root beer. Unfortunately this is the latter... root beer! Just a hint of it, but enough to throw me off.

Perfect Cozy Cognac Scent

This is the oldie speakeasy scent I was looking for. This is a BOOZY and cozy fragrance that makes me think I am a flapper who has taken over one of those men's only lounges or clubs. It has a little bar, is lined with comfy leather chairs, and filled with cigar smoke. I've made my own cognac cocktail that leans a little more sweet but you can still taste the woody notes, hints of spice, and caramel from the barrel. I don't really pickup on a paper note and it doesn't really read academic to me, but I still love this fragrance. This fragrance is dark but not heavy.

This fragrance created a nice scent bubble around me, only those close to me were able to pick it up. This also lasted all day, over 7 hours on my skin. There are a couple of options for sizes and pricing starting at 5ml rollerball for $22, 10ml EDP atomizer for $30, and 30ml EDP atomizer for $65. I know I will be buying the full 30ml, its just too good to pass up.
