1A Niche Fragrance with Recognition Value
I will give it a try - I will write my first fragrance description. Because I cannot justify that such a unique perfume like this one has not had one yet.
So let’s take a deep breath of this scent:
The first impression is very floral; oddly enough, I immediately smell the jasmine and lily at the beginning. I can definitely perceive rose as well. The components form a wonderful connection - to me, it smells like a lush flower garden in summer. During the first testing, I had an association with something soapy, which is probably due to the rose (my grandma always had rose soaps in the bathroom - Pavlov and classical conditioning come to mind). Over time, the floral aspect fades a bit but never completely disappears. Leather joins in. Yes, leather! While that sounds a bit strange at first, in combination, it smells very warm and harmonious. Gradually, cedarwood comes into play. The scent becomes increasingly warmer but does not lose the playfulness of the floral notes. Personally, I have not smelled a comparable perfume. It is extraordinary and therefore purely a matter of taste. You can smell the quality of the fragrance. The components are skillfully coordinated and always connect in perfect harmony.
Longevity:
Here too, the quality is convincing. I visited a friend who first introduced me to this scent. Between the meeting and using the perfume, there were easily 8-9 hours, and when I hugged her, her first comment was: "Oh, you have Lily on!". The intensity of the scent was still so present, as if I had just sprayed it on.
About the bottle:
The perfume comes in a high-quality, hexagon-shaped bottle made of dark blue glass. The cap and the base are made of golden metal and adorned with suns. The bottle feels very heavy (which might also be due to the fact that it contains 100ml).
Interesting facts:
This perfume is not so easy to obtain. Douglas and Co. do not have this niche fragrance in their assortment, so you either have to scour the internet (Notino had it once) or, if you’re lucky, the small perfume shop next door carries it (like with the aforementioned friend).
Additionally, it should be noted that (at least online) only the large version of 100ml is available. So, if you want to get it, I would recommend testing it beforehand. Because this perfume lasts you half an eternity (especially since it is an Eau de Parfum and you need no more than 2 sprays to smell good all day).
