D.urga + S.affron

I tried this perfume in a niche boutique in the city of Ferrara on a beautiful winter day. The owner told me that D.S. like its sister Durga belong to the house's most exclusive line and therefore, both in regard to cost and quality they should have a deviation from other creations. I will say that immediately I feel the DNA of the maison and the atmosphere reminds me a lot of Durga's even though there are substantial differences. Instead of being a fresh floral, this is a spicy floral, very spicy and for me too spicy. The beautiful floral composition is drowned out by the intrusive presence of saffron, which to be fair is not one of my favorite notes so I may be biased. In conclusion, an original scent that can be liked but that I would never want to have on or smell on anyone.
