Dovo Solingen

DOVO-Stahlwaren Bracht GmbH & Co. KG is a German company specialising in the manufacture of high quality razors, cutlery, shaving accessories and manicure sets. The company was founded in 1906 under the name "Dorp & Voos" and is based in Solingen, Germany.

Originally, the company was a pure razor factory with a forge and hollow grinding shop. However, under the management of Fritz Bracht, who took over the company in 1936, the business was expanded to include the manufacture of fine cutlery such as scissors, pliers and pocket knives. Over time, other brands were acquired and the range expanded to include shaving accessories and high-quality manicure sets.

To this day, DOVO-Stahlwaren Bracht is an independent company and still manufactures its products mainly by hand at its headquarters in Solingen.
