Ghost in the Wood
It is an "attacking" fragrance which roars for presence in the room, really powerful and really strong to wear, lasts easily up to 8-10 hours, and its distinct profile really stays on you and reminds you it is there, which I like.
This is how I would describe the overall experience with this fragrance: it is almost like walking into a forest in a fog, being surrounded by cedar trees, and walking on saffron smashed with dripping oud and dry sandalwood. Airy, Dusty, Dry and hard to grasp, I cannot wrap my head around what exactly I am experiencing with Al Emarat, which has a very distinct abstract composition for a woody fragrance. It is not the typical oriental woody fragrance out there for sure, it is opens a different perspective on what woody fragrance can be "feather light" and "ghostly" rather than the usual deep and thick profile in other perfumes. A really interesting piece to keep in collection, and use on occasions that needs it.
