Ottoman Ambergris Assam Sultan Ensar Oud 2024

Hello everyone,

this is about my purely personal perspective, and I would like to share with you why I love the "Ottoman Ambergris Assam Sultan | Ensar Oud / Oriscent" so much...

One must say that describing a fragrance from EO is, in my opinion, the true Champions League.

Why?

With each time you "wear" it, new facets reveal themselves, you perceive different accords, and the longer it sits with you, the more it changes in "maturity" - like good wine.

About the fragrance:

It is something "completely" different from what I have known so far. And yes, I know a few EOs, but nowhere near as many as some here, and I am fully aware of that.

Here’s what I gather!

The initial start is very, very complex and does not relate to just 1 or 2 accords. We have something fruity/dark in the mix, and it almost (!) goes in the direction of "Purple Rain (Pure Parfum) | Ensar Oud / Oriscent". Throughout, there is the subtle perfection of ambergris - I am a HUGE fan of that, along with something soft and woody that becomes creamy over time, and then a relatively dry vanilla develops. Along the way, there’s also something cool, floral, and clean = WOW!

For me, it "almost" scratches the title of masterpiece....

Give it a chance, because it deserves one!

Certain fragrances from the house are works of art, and that’s how they should be seen in my opinion!

A brief note on the sillage:

The fragrance reminds me, in terms of sillage, very much of "Irisss | XerJoff" or Reflection 45 - what do I mean by that?

It is present and acts very subtly + discreetly (SILLAGE) and comes in WAVES = with the warming of the skin. I find such a character very, very appealing = why?

Not every fragrance should scream, in my opinion, because there are certain situations where I appreciate this - for example here:

- Work
- In a restaurant
- Cinema
- Date
- Family gathering
- etc.

And the pure longevity is not to be underestimated...!

Is it really worth the price = and here I see its downside because when talking about €30+ per ml, that’s really quite heavy, but if I have this extremely high-quality fragrance for special occasions and know that it works so well, it makes it "a little" more pleasant for me...

I find it very difficult and honestly quite ungrateful to evaluate EO based on price, because these are fragrances that play in the Champions League purely in terms of quality.... and I’ll put it this way (affectionately), yes, one should/could have smelled and experienced certain ones from the brand, and that’s how I see it here, TEST IT and THEN we’ll see further!

I hope I could bring you closer to the fragrance...
A tip from me, test it on the skin and NOT on a scent strip or judge it at the spray head. Its true magic unfolds on the skin, and I was truly perplexed by this massive difference!
