Not Innocent éveìlleur 2024

Definitely not innocent. Not at all. This is a full-blown gourmand hit for colder days. Almond, rum that isn’t overly boozy but nicely balances the orange and rose, with milky and caramel undertones. The opening reminded me of Rossopompeiano by Agatho, while later stages with tonka, vanilla, almond, and caramel give off a vibe similar to Italica by Xerjoff but without tooth aching sweetness here. If Rossopompeiano and Italica had a baby, it would be called NOT INNOCENT.

Not Innocent is not a too sweet gourmand; it is even spicy for me for the most part.
It gives a cozy/homey feeling.
When I spray "Not Innocent | éveìlleur," I am back in Grandma's living room.
It’s winter, it has snowed outside, and in the living room, there is only dim candlelight.
Incense figures fill the room, transforming it into a spicy sweet dream.
On the shelf, there is a gingerbread house, but I mustn't break off a single corner of it; Grandma doesn't allow that ;-)
I also find this scent very tonka bean-heavy.
The fragrance is perfect for autumn and winter.

This scent reminds me of Sunday afternoons when we children were invited to our grandparents' house. Grandma baked treats that filled the apartment with a wonderful aroma. On the beautifully set table, I notice this lemon cake. The knife glides softly through it as she cuts me a piece. The pastry melts warm and soft in my mouth, tasting of lemony vanilla and almonds, and a feeling of well-being spreads over me. I want a second piece...

Back then, I probably lost my innocence.

Ah, delightful - a good, old, traditional lemon cake. The fluffy batter is wonderfully yellow and moist, baked with good, homemade vanilla sugar. But appearances can be deceiving - cutting into it reveals delicate streaks of rum, milk, and toffee that swirl through the batter like marble. The cake is pleasant, but not overwhelmingly sweet, creamy-fine almonds adorn the top and - um, wait a second, I just bit into something... Oops, someone accidentally baked the rubber band from the vanilla sugar jar into the cake! Quickly remove that, and the cake is good again.

...but if you look at the advertising text for "Not innocent," it could also be a condom...
