Shape-shifter, unfortunately no summery coconut vibes after all
I need to make a bit more than just a statement about this fragrance - not because it impressed me positively, but because it pretty much torpedoed my expectations. I initially tested it several times on paper - and was quite taken with it each time. I thought I had found a possible alternative to fragrances like Leisure in Paradise, Holidays, "Acqua Colonia Intense - Sunny Seaside of Zanzibar | 4711", or even Alien Goddess Eau de Parfum with some reservations. In other words: a simply super delicious summery coconut-heavy scent, a true "taste of vacation".
Unfortunately, nothing of that remains when tested on my skin. Here I only smell bright flowers (certainly the Tiare, which I wouldn't even recognize as such if Monoi weren't listed), it even becomes downright soapy, which I really dislike. No trace of coconut anymore, not even the vanilla comes through for me. - Correction: A hint of coconut does come through eventually, but only after about 2 1/2 hours, when the fragrance is already just a faint whisper on my wrist. Which would also answer the question of H/S right away.
Apparently, the fragrance behaves quite differently on other wearers, as I could gather from some statements here. So maybe do test it yourself if you generally like this scent direction. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.
